We are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience

There is no one like you.  You are unique and you are meant to live your passion,

but how can you when you’re focused on your physical limitations:

2017 was a big year for me, a good one.  In spite of the trauma with which we started the year, I saw a lot of growth.  Elm City Coach moved to a new location, changing our day to day, which involved saying good-bye to friends and making new ones in our new space.  Transitions are never easy, but change is necessary for growth.

I established a new routine on Wednesdays, joining a networking group, THE networking group, BNI.  The relationships I started developing provided me with profound discoveries about myself, my role on earth, and the purpose of Elm City Coach.  We are not a gym, nor have we ever been.  I am not a Personal Trainer, though I used to be.  I am a coach.  I am a guide.  I take my cues from my clients and from the universe.  I don’t answer to fad diets or media trends.  I answer to a higher power.  I answer to life.

I do know how “whoo whoo” I sound, actually, though I’m getting more comfortable with the idea of being a spirit guide.  I don’t quite yet know how to express it to non-believers, however.  But maybe that’s ok.  Maybe in 2018 I can focus on speaking to those who are ready to hear what I have to say.  Because, in the end, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be a bodybuilder or look good for beach season.  That’s just not where my passion lies.

I believe I am here to teach as many people as I can how to better care for their bodies because it is with these bodies that we will be able to fulfill our purpose…to live our passion.

French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin said,

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience”.

And I deeply believe and feel that for me as well as for you.  I recognize that not every one is ready to accept this.  I truly believe that is fine.  I’m trying to accept it is not my duty to force anyone down a path.  To those looking for a means to express their passion, however, I am here to work with you to help you discover and live it.

By teaching you to listen to the cues your body gives, buy encouraging you to work with those cues, especially the difficult ones, you can increase your energy, strength, confidence, and flexibility.  All of these characteristics can be developed in the body and transposed to your mindset.  It is my passion to show you how.  Together, as a team, we uncover the code your body uses to communicate with you.

This is my 2018.  It is a work in progress as we all are.
